Unicorn Theatre Presents the World Premiere of Magic Valley Community Theatre’s Little Women
November 12 – December 7, 2025 | Levin Stage
Directed by Ernie Nolan
KANSAS CITY, MO — It’s a play within a play, where the audience comes backstage to witness the drama and chaos that unfolds on and off stage.
Unicorn Theatre proudly presents the world premiere of Magic Valley Community Theatre’s Little Women by Liza Birkenmeier and Trish Harnetiaux. This heartfelt new comedy runs November 12 through December 7, 2025, on the Levin Stage and directed by Artistic Director Ernie Nolan.
It’s closing night for the Magic Valley Community Theatre’s production of Little Women and what could possibly go wrong? As the actors portraying the beloved March sisters navigate their final performance, real-life tensions erupt: a poker game in the wings, a packed bag that may signal an early exit, a secret relationship, and an unhappy board member threatening to derail it all. With their sights set on making it to the Nationals in Rochester, the ensemble faces the ultimate question: how far will they go for their community theatre dreams?
Magic Valley Community Theatre’s Little Women is a sharp and affectionate look at small-town theatre life. The rivalries, bonds, and the shared belief that the show must go on.
